Approach We worked with the company's CEO, President/COO and CFO to define future-state operations. We then assembled a team of technology and business professionals, specified functional requirements for a system to support their business, and engaged a vendor to implement an ERP system. In parallel, we updated and created business processes aligned with the ERP system features, and trained the entire company on the new way of running their business. Within 7 months, working hand in hand with company leadership and key staff, we completed implementation of an ERP system spanning all major functions of the business: master planning, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory management and financials.

A company whose customer relationships and revenue streams were in jeopardy sought to redefine its mission and better organize to meet new challenges. The goal in redefining the mission was to promote the legacy of past successes while offering new services and establishing credibility as a quality service provider.

Approach To start, we needed to evaluate the viability of current business services and assess the feasibility of new venture opportunities. We worked with senior team members to inventory capacity, documenting organizational capabilities and comparing those capabilities against the company’s business development aspirations and market conditions. What emerged from our work was an achievable Services Development and Delivery Plan, including specifications for organizational gaps to be filled.
